Winner of the 2008 Graphic Award at the RHA
 
Born in Dublin in 1949, studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin for three years, one year foundation course and two in the sculpture school. Had a one-man exhibition in the Project gallery in Middle Abbey Street in 1970.

Taught art at Ballyfermot post Primary and Sundrive Road post primary for one year before moving to County Meath and teaching art at St. Oliver Plunket Post Primary in Oldcastle to leaving cert level for three years up to 1979.

Designed Young Citizen schools civics magazine for the IPA for two years during the time in Meath, finally editing it as well for six months.

Set up an etching studio in County Meath in 1976.

Moved to Switzerland and worked at the Centre Genevois de la Gravure for two months, then three months working at the Atelier of master printer Raymond Mayer in Lausanne.

Anima Graphics in London published work produced in Switzerland in 1981.

Joined The Graphic Studio in Dublin and continued to produce work which was published by Anima Graphics, spending some time working with their printers in London. Became secretary of the Graphic Studio for one year.

Worked in AGB Graphics in Madison, Wisconsin for eighteen months over the next few years, continuing to work at the Graphic Studio when in Dublin. London Contemporary Art published the work.

Moved to Hollymount, Co. Mayo in 1986 and established a studio with the assistance of the IDA. Two further one man shows; Clare Morris Gallery; 1989 and Bridge Mills Gallery, Galway; 1991.
