Her work

Generally concentrates on the areas where land meets water - such as riverbanks, 

riverbeds, beaches & shorelines.  The results are an exploration of these areas and a response to the interaction of the elements there.

 

Lately she’s been very interested in exploring the concept of time, by using themes such as erosion & the powerful inevitability of sea tides.  Having long used pebbles & rocks in her work, here they aid in expressing the changes which accrue over the slow passage of time as they are eroded and ground fine by the movement of water
