work
Nialls
work is from nature, reflecting a more melancholy aspect of the Irish
landscape. Shifting, turbulent skies and bog lands with slices of bare
mountainside combine to create mutable atmospheric views. The work
focuses on the marks made on a landscape through the process of turf
cutting. The greater use of colour, in these paintings, reflects the
changes from one season to another. |
