ions of entry for the Fifth Annual Irish Contemporary Ceramic Awards 3rd to
24th June 2012
1 Submissions must be original and of a high standard, both in presentation and content. The work should not have been previously exhibited and created within the last 2 years.
2 Submission forms must be accompanied by photographs/CD (digital images) of the
actual work with 2-
3 Forms must be completed and returned with images and fees to John Goode, Mill Cove Gallery, Castletownbere, County Cork on or before 5th May 2011. Submission forms may be down loaded from the web site but cannot be submitted online.
4 Work must be presented ready for exhibition without any further work needed on it. If a wall piece it must be corded and completely ready to hang.
5 Work must not be larger than 90cm x 90cm x 90cm
6 Work must be priced to include the gallery commission of 50% (includes credit card charges+VAT). Please ensure the selling price is correct, as this cannot be changed once the catalogue goes to print. Payments for sales will be made 30 days after the sale has been completed.
7 Works chosen for exhibition will be selected from photographs or digital images submitted with the entry.
8 Selection will be made on merit by a panel of four judges. If the image(s) is (are) felt to be inadequate the judges may request viewing the actual work. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9 Selected work may be handed in to Mill Cove Gallery, Castletownbere on 25th , 26th May between 12pm and 5pm. Work will only be accepted on these days.
10 Work may be sent by post/courier. Please note all artists are liable for all transport, duty and VAT costs or any other related costs. Please insure that your work is correctly packaged as we can accept no responsibility for work damaged in transit. Work must arrive between 19th and 26th May 2012.
10 The exhibition of selected work will open at Mill Cove Gallery, Castletownbere, County Cork on 3rd June. The exhibition will continue until 24th June. The awards will be presented at the opening of the exhibition.
11 By signing the entry form the Artist licences Mill Cove Gallery to reproduce their work for publicity purposes in relation to the exhibition.

13 Please ensure photographs of your work on CD are high res. images (JPeg/GIF/TIF).
14 The utmost care will be taken of all work submitted but Mill Cove Gallery will not be responsible for any damage, loss of, or destruction to any work for any reason whatsoever. Any insurance should therefore be effected by the artist against all risks
15 The 2012 ICCA award(s) will be a painting(s) by John Brennan
16 Other awards include: Etain Hickey Award, Turner Award, Gallery Zozimus Award, Adrigole Arts Award, Ceramics Ireland and the Craft Council of Ireland. Further awards will be announced as submitted.
