Richard Healy (1977, Dublin) works mainly in sculpture, and primarily in stone.  He has been exhibiting since 1999, in shows including Sculpture in Context at the Botanic Gardens and Oldbridge House, Form, The Hallward and Mill Cove Galleries and many others. He completed two OPW commissions for Aras an Uachtarain in 2011, The Blue bells and the Braille Alphabet. Richard won the RDS craft award in 2012 and also was part of the Enjoy Art show in Taiwan in 2013.

Richard’s subject matter has always been greatly influenced by the botanical world. This is apparent in his forms, shapes and textures, converting these natural shapes and forms into something more architectural, while maintaining a link to where they came from.
Richards work is in many collections in Ireland, Europe, North America and the Far East. He works at his studios in Dublin.
