Sandra was born in 1970 and lives in Dublin.  In 1994, she graduated from the National College of Art and Design has worked in her studio creating ceramic figures, busts and masks.  She has participated in many exhibitions including ‘Sculpture In Context’ held annually in the Botanic Gardens, Dublin and has sold her work in a variety of craft shops aimed at the tourist market. Since 2010, she has explored peoples’ fascination with the aftermath of an accident or other incident.  She wants to open debate about whether or not all the mages of carnage we see on the internet and other media has desensitised us to other people’s suffering.
