Kate Durrant is the editor of two regional Irish publications, The Muskerry News and The Kenmare News. A regular voice on RTE Radio One’s A Word in Edgeways and BBC Radio Two’s Pause for Thought, she also writes a popular column for Irish Country Living in the Farmers Journal. Her work appears in The Irish Examiner, The Sunday Independent, and numerous literary outlets including From the Well, Literature Today, and Hammond House Anthology. She co-hosts the Natter podcast and recently signed with Marianne Gunn O’Connor for her debut novel. In 2024, she received a fiction mentorship from the Munster Literary Centre.
