Ian Humphreys lives and paints in Schull, West Cork, Ireland. He was born in Hertfordshire in 1956. He studied at Exeter College of Art, gaining a BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting in 1979. Since 1979, Ian has exhibited widely both nationally & internationally, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition & the Hunting Prize, winning 2nd prize in 1998.
