Nathalie Vessié
Originally from Belgium and now based in Glandore, West Cork, Nathalie draws inspiration from the wild beauty of the surrounding countryside and ocean. Her work spans a variety of mediums, including painting, papier-mâché sculpture, and illustration.
Some of her latest collection explores the symbolic presence of whales, inspired by a photograph gifted by her husband, Bryan. Nathalie's creations have been exhibited widely in Belgium and beyond. Also a writer, her first book, The Casting of Leonardo, was featured at the Louvre in Paris in 2020 to mark the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death.
